Taconic Distillery, born in 2013, aim to produce high quality spirits…with local ingredients. Spirits non-chill filtered, aged in good quality barrels, created with the aim of simple yet enjoyable sipping as well as making high-end cocktails.

Color : deep golden amber.
Nose : caramel, vanilla , slight nutmeg and maple.
Palate : sweet, brown sugar, baking spices , maple comes in at the end for a small appearance.
Finish : medium, the notes of spices linger on and on the palate is still left with the maple.
Overall : a smooth bourbon yet still with a kick. The spices help balance the sweetness from the maple syrup. I was relieved to taste only a smaller portion of the syrup, it didn’t over power the drink, just added a great taste.
